OUR ARENAS

Our No. 1 Arena

The No. 1 Arena is best known as the home of the Vodafone Warriors, New Zealand’s premier rugby league team. This arena first established its credentials as one of New Zealand’s top sports grounds when it was selected as the venue for the 1990 Commonwealth Games.

Since then, leading league and rugby codes alike have continued to use the field, playing to up to 23,708 seated fans at a time. The arena can accommodate up to 47,000 concertgoers, having previously hosted leading music performers such as Pearl Jam, U2, Elton John and Michael Jackson, to name a few.

One of the big summer events each year is the famous Big Day Out, where New Zealand’s leading and up-and-coming musical talents join top overseas performers in a day long concert. Click image below for a 360-degree view of No. 1 Arena.
