OUR HOME TEAMS

Vodafone Warriors
New Zealand’s only team in the Australian National Rugby League (NRL) competition, the Vodafone Warriors, is permanently based at Mt Smart Stadium. The Vodafone Warriors have been here since their debut NRL season back in 1995. The team made the NRL finals in 2003 and again in 2007 when Mt Smart hosted a thrilling home semi against the Parramatta Eels. At Mt Smart we are lucky enough to host at least 12 home games each season, filling up the stands with dedicated Warriors fans, rain or shine.

Auckland Football Federation
Formerly known as Soccer 2, the Auckland Football Federation has been a long-standing tenant of Mt Smart Stadium. AFF is responsible for the local growth and development of soccer in the Auckland region, which it achieves through strong administration and its hands-on approach. AFF organises coaching, refereeing, and players for all ages, grades and diversions; both competitive and social, and at club and school level.
